Since 1995, Dixie Workshop Inc. specializes in high-end custom cabinetry and furniture. Our 10,000 Sq. Ft. facility has a myriad of state-of-the-art equipment.

Dixie Workshop Inc. has a certified and inspected spray booth complete with a fire suppression system and explosion proof lighting. The creativity and quality of Dixie Workshop Inc. finishes are recognized by reputable interior designers as the best in the Ocala, Florida area.

Our Staff

All work at the shop is done by “in house” employees. Many cabinetmakers and dealers outsource the installation of the cabinetry to subcontractors who are most often paid on a per piece or bid price. The more quickly the job is installed, the more profitable it is for the installer.

We at Dixie Workshop Inc. feel that our cabinets require the same painstaking care required in the design and productions be reflected in the installation process. As a result, the design and production of the job. This insures that there is no conflict of interest, which can comprise the quality of the installation.

Custom Design

State of the art software, Cabinet Vision Solid is utilized for design of jobs. This remarkable software enables the client to visually see the project take shape on the computer screen. Changes in design, materials, and finishes can quickly be displayed, enabling a preview of many different options. This software produces the cut-list and scale drawings for the job, which include, a floor plan, elevations and 3-D Views of the project, leaving no room for misunderstanding regarding the final results of each individual project. Specialty Custom doors, moldings, and cabinets can be created within the program. Each individual change instantaneously is reflected in the cut-list and material summary, which in turn guarantees accurate estimation of job costs.

Custom Finishes

Custom finishes are provided for every job at Dixie Workshop Inc. Complex multiple step finishes including distressing, glazing are available for each job. The Conversion Varnish topcoat utilized is the best product available in the woodworking industry.

Custom Cabinetry

All Cabinetry at Dixie Workshop Inc. is manufactured utilizing the highest quality materials. Standard features of our cabinetry include full extension drawer slides, all wood construction, mortise and tenon joinery on all doors. Moldings are pre-fit to cabinetry, detailed and then finished in our spray booth. This process means that moldings are not riddled with pin-nails, and filled with putty or color sticks at the time of installation.
